A Unique Perspective on Aging

Trading Ages is an interactive senior-sensitivity workshop. The program provides participants the opportunity to “walk in the shoes” of an older adult through a series of hands-on exercises and sensory perception education.

Participants gain an understanding of the effects of:

Hearing loss
Vision changes
Loss of dexterity
Health challenges common to seniors
And much more

For years, all SCAN employees have participated in this aging sensitivity training – and it’s been long considered one of the cornerstones of our company. In fact, the program has been so successful that SCAN also offers it throughout the community and is training a variety of groups that serve older adults.
